On My Cooking List
March 26, 2018
I've been so hungry for some of my favorite gluten foods recently soooooo I thought I would gather some gluten free options and share them! *Some of the recipes might use gluten ingredients, I substitute for the gluten free alternative. If you are not sure what to switch out for please send me an email or comment!*
I was in Outback the other day and they don't have any gluten free appetizers (major eye roll)! So I did some research and found this recipe and a blooming onion sauce!
I love anything that has sweet potato in it. These would make for the perfect brunch spread! Nom nom nom...
Tempura Asparagus
One of my all time favorite restaurants servers tempura asparagus and oh my goodness...it is so good. I can't wait to make this recipe! Will bring me back to the good ole days.
Onion Rings
Ah...nothing beats a veggie burger and a side of onion rings. These might be getting made tomorrow. They just look so yummy!
Bacon & Goat Cheese Stuffed Sweet Peppers
I love stuffed jalapeño peppers so when I stumbled across these I knew they had to be made asap!
Pineapple Salsa
I love a good mango salsa so I can only imagine how good this must be!

Black Front Tie Top
March 11, 2018
Happy Sunday! I hope that everyone has had a great weekend. Friday evening Eric and I went to his nephew's t-ball game and 5 year olds in little baseball/softball outfits is the cutest thing ever. After the t-ball game we went downtown and got some drinks with a friend of mine that was in town from Denver! Yesterday we spent the evening with close friends and family celebrating Eric's 27th birthday! It was so much fun and reminds me how blessed I am to have Eric in my life. 7 years later and I'm still super obsessed with him!!
I can't wait for it to get warmer out so I can wear this top this summer! It is so soft and so cute. I'm loving it paired with high-waisted jeans for now (high waisted shorts for the summer & some gladiators). I got a medium in this top and I definitely should've gone with a small. So it does run TTS (true to size). The medium works just fine since you can tie it how tight you want it. Oh and did I mention it is only $11?!
This bamboo handbag is an ah-mazing dupe for the Cult Gaia Ark bag. I found this one for $50 off of Amazon and it was an immediate buy! It's not even summer yet and I'm already getting so much use out of it. Every time I wear it I get stopped everywhere asking where I got it from. It is so pretty!

Skincare Routine
February 27, 2018
Cleanser:
I've been using Purity for years and I love it! I do this every night and every morning. It's a very gentle cleanser and it leaves your skin feeling so soft.
Toner:
I use witch hazel. I've been using witch hazel since I was in high school. I can tell a huge difference from when I do use it and when I don't. Best part? It's less than $5!
Facial Spray:
I have been using this product for about a year and it is one of my favorites. I use it daily in my skin care routine and throughout the day when I need a little pick me up.
Serum:
I got this serum in the mail just a few weeks ago and I can already tell a huge difference. My skin has gotten tighter, the wrinkles are disappearing, and overall a better texture. Plus it is under $20!!
Eye Gel:
I've been using this eye gel for a few months now and I must say that I really like it. My dark circles have gotten lighter and it takes my puffiness away.
Moisturizer:
I was using First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair which I love but recently I noticed that my skin was getting kind of oily with this winter weather. I did some research and figured I could try a gel moisturizer and I decided to try this one. I absolutely looooove it.

Entry Way
February 20, 2018
Can't believe I'm finally showing off my entry way with everyone. I never show off my home decor because I feel like I always having something else to do. I feel like for right now it is done. I would like to add some wallpaper in the nook where my entry table is at but until then this is what I've got... I love mixing modern furniture with antiques. I'm very much a neutral kinda girl. The only room in my house that has color is my bedroom. OOPS! I think that there is something very cozy about having an all neutral house filled with a ton of different textures. What is your favorite home decor style? Are you into neutrals or color?
